- Description
N,N’-Diphenyl guanidine
C13H13N3
M.W. : 211.3
CAS : 102-06-7
EINECS : 203-002-1
PROPERTIES:
As a primary accelerator for NR, NURCHEM DPG-80 is very slow and, consequently, rarely used alone. For NR and SBR, it is mainly used as a secondary accelerator or as a booster for
thiazoles, but also for sulphenamides (when moderate increases in cure rate are desired).
It gives faster cure rates and better mechanical
properties in general purpose elastomers. Owing to discoloration, it is mostly used for dark or black colour products. It imparts a slightly bitter taste so it is unsuitable for applications in the manufacture of food-contact materials.
APPLICATIONS:
It is a foam stabiliser in the silico-fluoride foam
process. Moreover, it is a stabiliser for CR.

PACKAGING & STORAGE :
25 kg(net) Carton. 600 kg (net)/ pallet.
Shelf-life : 2 years in its original packaging
Store in a dry and cool place and away from direct sources of heat or sunlight.
Compared to a traditional EVM/EP(D)M binder, NURCHEM DPG-80 allows :
l .Dust free products with a high level of filtration up to 38 μ.
2.Tack free products at room temperature.
3.Lower Mooney viscosity, improving quality of dispersion.
4.Scrap rate reduction thanks to filtration.
5.Wider compatibility with other elastomers.
